3D Scanning

• After finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create a highly accurate digital model. Using specialized scanners, they capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. This digital model forms the foundation of the design process, ensuring precision for incorporating sophisticated mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Each car typically requires over 40 hours to complete the scanning.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digitally scanned model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions, starting with hand-drawn sketches to outline their ideas. These sketches are then digitized using computer-aided design (CAD) software, where bold concepts take shape. After finalizing the draft design, basic aerodynamic tests are performed using specialized software. Advanced technology is integral to achieving ZACOE Performance’s hallmark of sophistication, exceptional quality, and innovative results.

Prototyping

• Once the digital model has been designed and tested, ZACOE Performance moves on to crafting a physical prototype using ABS material. This involves utilizing advanced equipment like 3D printers and CNC machines to fabricate each component of the kit. The assembled prototype is tested on the vehicle to ensure a perfect fit and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• After testing the prototype and making necessary adjustments, ZACOE Performance begins the final stage of creating the molds for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype is used to produce molds for each component, which serve as the basis for manufacturing the final product. This process combines skilled manual craftsmanship with specialized machinery, ensuring precision and quality. The result is a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s aesthetics and performance.
